PREVENTING CROSS CONTAMINATION
· All surfaces are cleaned of any visible dirt and debris before and after the production of the product.
· All surfaces are then sanitized with Lysol wipes before and after production of the product.
· Hands are washed with warm water and soap before tools are handled, before and after production of the product.
· All tools used are sprayed with alcohol and wiped before and after production of the product.
· If a tool falls on the floor during production, any debris is wiped off and the tool is then sprayed with alcohol and wiped dry.
· All materials used are stored separately in its designated area.
PRODUCT RECALLS
Goal: To alert consumers of recalls of raw materials used in our products.
Methods: Email, Website
- Raw material supplier informs Lighted Ambiance of a recall on an ingredient used in their finished good.
- Lighted Ambiance will relay the information to its impacted customers via the following channels:
- Email, website post, a letter which will state the findings, product name, description, lot numbers, and batch numbers.
- Replacements will be offered for those impacted upon return of remaining product.
- Recommended action will be provided
